Amazon Adventure in Yasun 8 Days

Your adventure begins with a transfer to Cocas port, where you will board a speedboat and navigate along the mighty Napo River for approximately five to six hours. Along the way, you will enjoy lunch before arriving at the town of Nuevo Rocafuerte, where you will take a short tour and settle in. The day concludes with a delicious dinner and your first night in the Amazon.

After breakfast, the expedition continues with a two-hour boat ride to the Ministry of Environment checkpoint, followed by a guided walk through the rainforest to admire giant trees and learn about the ecosystem. The journey then takes you to the beautiful Jatuncocha Lagoon, where you will have lunch surrounded by nature. In the afternoon, you will embark on a fascinating hike to discover medicinal plants, forest vines, and ancestral uses of the jungle, before returning to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will head to the Tambococha Lagoon for a birdwatching excursion lasting two to three hours. The day continues with a trek along the Yasun River, searching for monkeys, peccaries, and other remarkable wildlife, while enjoying a picnic lunch in the forest. On the return trip to Nuevo Rocafuerte, there is a chance to spot pink river dolphins, giant otters, and other iconic species of the Amazon, all while admiring a breathtaking sunset. The evening closes with dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

At dawn, the adventure resumes with a boat ride along the Napo and Aguarico Rivers to reach the Yaku Warmi Tourist Center, where you will experience the unforgettable activity of feeding and observing pink river dolphins for about 30 to 45 minutes. Afterward, you will return to Nuevo Rocafuerte for lunch before taking the speedboat back to Coca. Upon arrival, you will check in at the Gran Hotel de Lago El Coca for your final overnight stay.

On the final day, you may enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Coca Airport, where your Amazon journey comes to an end and you continue with your outbound flight.

After breakfast, you will travel along the Napo River for approximately two hours, then continue to Cocaya, where you will have the extraordinary experience of observing and feeding pink river dolphins. Lunch will be served in Cocaya before the journey continues to Pantoja, a town on the Peruvian border. Later, you will return to Nuevo Rocafuerte for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, it is time to return. You will transfer to Nuevo Rocafuertes port and take a speedboat back to Coca. Upon arrival, you will check in at the Gran Hotel de Lago, El Coca for your final night in the Amazon.

On the last day, after breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Cocas airport for your outbound flight, bringing your Amazon adventure to a close.
